On the occasion of the 7th edition of Lausanne Jardins, a life-size laboratory for urban planning, the Alfred Latour Foundation wanted to be associated with the flagship event of the Lausanne summer by presenting the exhibition Alfred’s Secret Flowers Tower.

Two themes which intersect and respond to each other: the water along the edges of the lake and the flower captured by the painter in the heart of the Alpilles, presented after the long journey up the Rhône, practically on the hidden route of the Flon, a little above the old address of the Bains Haldimand, Place du Nord 2. A drop of water like a dream and a journey through time. A dialogue on the living and fragility, approached on one side by the art of transforming space, on the other by the art of representing the fleeting beauty of plants. On one side the flower surprised by pencil or watercolor, on the other the space transformed to make room for a new perspective.

The Espace Alfred Latour extends the subject of “point of view” and “aesthetics”, opening its doors to dialogue between the arts.
